PANDANGAN MANAJER ATAS INTUISI DAN PEMANFAATANNYA DALAM KEPUTUSAN STRATEGIK M. Taufiq Amir Program Studi Manajemen IBII Abstract Several studies found that intuition has critical roles in strategic decision process of within the managers. Strategic decision comprises particular characteristics, i.e, long range dimension, unstructured form, and tendency to ambiguous so that managers could not rely on analysis which depend on data and facts. For Indonesia’s circumstances, demand to exercise intuition of manager even higher due to uncertainty levels they deal with. Utilizing intuition, managers have the opportunities to increase the effectiveness of their strategic decisions. This study attempted to outline the definition of intuition from different perspectives, and tried to find out how Indonesian managers define “what and how” intuition is. Furthermore, it also describes how managers perceive their dependence on intuition in their strategic decisions. The relation between this perception with uncertainty and strategic thinking concept is also elaborated.

EOC (Employee Organizational Commitment) regarded as work attitude lately has always been a strategic issue and is believed to be something essential that must be won by any organization for it influences behaviors that lead an organization to functioning effectively. QWL (Quality of Work Life) oriented financial compensation, job characteristics, and work environment were expected to positively influence the EOC in state-owned banks. This applied explanatory research used the hypothetico-deductive method and multiple regression analysis. The research showed that as a whole the EOC in state-owned banks was in moderate level, the job characteristics and the work environment was perceived as “satisficing”, and the financial compensation was “rather bad”. All of the hypotheses were emperically supported and this meant the QWL oriented financial compensation, job characteristics, and work environment jointly influenced positively the EOC.

On the other hand, globalization era is increasingly creating tight competition. Consumers’ demand of high quality goods and better service have made today’s market not only a place where products and services compete with one another but also a venue where brands compete among themselves from the perspective of consumers. This research was aimed at analyzing the performance of brand attitude and brand image, brand equity in the banking industry and the customers’ satisfaction and loyalty from the clients’ point of view. The purpose was to know performance of brand image, brand attitude, brand equity, satisfaction and loyalty. For qualitative variable the writer used descriptive analysi,. The number of samples chosen randomly was 400 customers and there were only 347 customers validly analyzed. The result of the research showed that brand association role that shaped brand image played an important role in building up brand equity, satisfaction, and loyalty of banks’ customers.

This Research aim to to be able to know by parsial and by variabel dependence (Y) with independence variable ( X). Key Words: work motivation ANALISIS KASUS TERHADAP PERUBAHAN HARGA: KRITIK TERHADAP ERROR CORRECTION MODEL (ECM) Freddy Rangkuti Program Studi Manajemen IBII Abstract This paper reviews the empirical research on price changing and critics on Error Correction Models. We offer a framework for discussing forecast in the area of marketing using Augmented Dickey Fuller Test, Cointegration Test and Error Correction Model Test, and the review the literature in light of that framework.
The results from the fitted Autoregressive models indicate that both price series are generated by autoregressive processes and there is no influence of external exogeneous shocks. The results provide some indirect evidence supporting the secular deterioration of the commodity terms of trade for oil prices. Further research is necessary to examine conditions where econometric methods are likely to perform well.

Doing the analysis uses descriptive method and data collecting by interviewing, filling questioner, observing and documenting. From the result of strategy formulating using quantitative strategic planning matrix is recommended product development strategy for ethical division on PT DKL.
